OUR VISION

A compelling vision of God’s Kingdom is critical to the existence of a local church. Come with us to discover what God is doing in Copenhagen.

God is love. It is a love that seeks to give rather than take. Everything good comes from God. He is the center of our lives. John 3:16

God’s son, Jesus, restored us back to God through believing in Him. We can now love people through God’s love. We desire to live out this amazing reality. John 13:24

serve both

We embrace God’s love and seek to pass it on. Jesus served His Father through obedience and brought life back into this world. It is our honor and privilege to do likewise. Matthew 28:19

Background

OUR STORY

In 2007, Frank, Betina, and a group of 9 adults moved into a big house in the center of Copenhagen. After living together and the number increasing, a church was planted in 2012, and people started moving into different areas of Copenhagen.

In 2022, the church family bought Klostergaarden, a communal living space housing up to 12-14 people, on the outskirts of Copenhagen, which is now the center of the work.

The main work still involves serving Cornerstone in central Copenhagen and relating to several churches in the region and nationwide.

Who we are

We Are Cornerstone

Cornerstone Church stands as a spiritual anchor in Copenhagen. Our name embodies our identity – just as a cornerstone provides strength and stability to a building, we aim to be a solid foundation for faith in our community.

Drawing inspiration from Ephesians 2:20, which describes Christ as the chief Cornerstone, we strive to build our church on His teachings. Together, we form a structure of love, support, and shared faith, each member an essential part of our spiritual identity – we are more than a church, we are family.

OUR LEADERS
